Everyone at iflix is incredibly humbled by the Company’s recent recognition in two important areas that we, as a business, committed to prioritise earlier this year.
The first, is a silver place finish for Excellence in Women Empowerment Strategy at the HR Excellence Awards for our Boosting Equal Talent (B.E.T.) initiative. We created B.E.T. in January to foster equality, empowerment and diversity in the workplace, as well as champion progress in our local communities to help women effect lifelong change and maximise their impact on society. To have finished second out of more than 40 applicants, many of them large, multinational corporations, in a nationwide competition is extraordinary.
iflix was also honoured by a series of awards for our iflix Original productions. The Company won 3 national awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA), and is now in the running for top honours at the Grand Finals. The AAAs honour excellence in craft and technical disciplines across various platforms including television, digital, streaming and emerging technologies from different countries around the world.
iflix was recognised in the following categories:
Best Current Affairs Programme or Series: Coconuts TV on iflix (Malaysia)
Best Original Programme by a Streamer/OTT: Coconuts TV on iflix (Malaysia)
Best Short Form Content: Disgustingly Delicious with Edho Zell (Indonesia)
