Boosting Equal Talent is iflix’s first step in a boarder initiative to promote diversity across our markets both within our team, as well as to champion progress in the communities we operative in.
In many of the markets iflix operates in, women do not have equal standing in terms of professional opportunities and growth. As active members of those communities, iflix seeks to set a positive example and foundation for greater societal impact and change.
We invited the SMK Kompleks KLIA Digital Ninjas, a group of 25 young, bright, tech-savvy girls, to be Employees for Day at iflix HQ in Kuala Lumpur, where they were introduced to the practical aspects of coding, design, product testing, data analytics, video editing and push notifications – elements that are key components in the Company’s day-to-day operations.
iflix is keen on leveraging its brand and reputation as a trailblazer to be a catalyst that helps women affect lifelong change and maximise their impact on society. iflix previously worked with MDEC in Malaysia in a globally recognised Hour of Code initiative to teach school-aged girls how to code.
